Not exactly the same (especially material-wise), but nonetheless very similar and I'm still happy with it. Though I will never purchase from them again. Why? EMS shipping is crazy expensive and took 3 weeks to arrive. Also even though I really like the bag, it's not worth all that $$$. Keep in mind I don't regret this purchase because I knew it would benefit some of you who thought of ordering from this wholesale site, but haven't yet because of doubts or for any other reasons. So there you go, I did you all a favor, ain't I nice? = D

Morning Routine

Cleanse, tone, treat, and moisturize

-I use a gel or foam cleanser such as Neutrogena's Oil Free Acne wash to rid of sebum from the night before

-After I dry my face I spray Evian on and add my Acne.org treatment to prevent acne

-When 5 minutes have passed and my treatment has absorbed I add Jojoba Oil to my Aveeno SPF30 Positively Radiant Moisturizer and apply all over the face to moisturize.

Night time routine

Remove makeup, cleanse, tone, treat and add AHA (to prevent wrinkles and tone down uneveness),moisturize!

I forgot to add my makeup remover towelettes, eye makeup remover, and my eye cream...whoops LOL

-With dry hands and dry face I smear some cleansing oil on to my face to remove any lingering makeup and the SPF 30, since sunscreens are notoriously hard to remove and have the ability to clog pores, the only way to get it all out is with a cleansing Oil. I am using Kracie Naive Deep Cleansing Oil.

-Wash off the cleansing oil and while my face is still wet, I wash any remaining residue with Neutrogena'S Oil Free Acne wash.

-Spray Evian after face is patted dry to tone and ready skin to accept proper moisturization.

-Dab on eye cream (not pictured) I use Avon's Luminosity

-Treat with Acne.org and follow up with AHA, this renews skin during night time

-Again, I add jojoba oil to a gel moisturizer to moisturize after the treatment has absorbed

What I use on a daily basis for point make. I swear it's like I never get new makeup LOL!

I don't use the foundation for all over my face, only as concealer to cover up unsightly spots!

-Conceal with Revlon's ColorStay Foundation

-Set concealer with loose powder, I use Palgantong, a Korean brand

-I shade and shape my brows with brow powder by Kanebo Media

-NYX Guru eyeshadow palette is used for the everyday wash of eye color. I like the color in the middle best!

-I line my eyes with a black gel liner, curl my lashes and apply a volumizing mascara

- NYX Angel blush and Beige lip gloss are my finishing touches!

Heya ladies and gents! Remember on one of my posts I mentioned that I had to restock on a bunch of products? One of the few things I needed to restock on are some styling products because I completely ran out! That describes my unruly mane in some pictures though LOL! Well here's some new hair care products I bought from CVS. They were having a sale, 3 for $10 which was a perfect deal! So I got these:

I love Garnier Products, they smell so good, and are affordable! I've used the smoothing milk before and this is my second time purchasing. It makes your strands silky smooth! I got the wave spray for when I'm too lazy to blow dry and straighten; which I am proud to say I've been off heat styling devices for a about a month now ^_^. The mousse is for those days that I want extra oomph! My hair has the tendency to fall flat on me since it's so fine and limp.

Now for some food porn! LOL posting pictures of food is so addicting you all have no idea...

Stir Fried Spicy Lemongrass Chicken and Steamed Rice at Pho 999 a Viet place.

The chicken was kind of dry but it had a great flavor. Not spicy enough though!

RAMBLE

Why is it that OnSugar does not have a program that lets you reply to comments? Or send you a notice when you receive one? I get discouraged from answering comments on my posts because I know my readers don't get a notice telling them they got a reply from me and that kind of irritates me! Also I know I get replies on other bloggers posts too, but of course I wouldn't know unless I go back and check, which is kind of inconvenient. I feel like I'm not so connected to my followers because of it. = [ Then again maybe I'm just so damn used to livejournal...

I noticed that I always play up the eyes but never my lips so I decided to do this fun muted magenta look for you girls. The color is much more vibrant than the pictures portray it to be. The lighting in my room is just so scattered GRRR!!!!

Of course it's just a bright lip gloss so it's more wearable for girls who chicken away from crazy bright listicks (like me!)

Now of course, a strong bright lip should be paired with a more subtle eye make.

Here's what I used:

Lazy Tutorial:

1. Evian face, apply moisturizer and let set for 5 minutes before applying makeup

2. Brush on a loose powder to give a more even appearance (only do this if you don't have problem skin!)

3. Fill in brows with a powder that closely resembles your hair color.

4. Apply a golden or champagne eyeshadow all over lid, I used NYX Champagne.

5. Line your eyes with a black powder for a more smoldering look. MAC Smoking was used.

6. Curl your lashes and brush on a legnthening black mascara like Maybelline's Lash Stilleto.

7. Use a soft pink blush on apples of cheeks for a glowy hint. NYX Angel is my favorite!

8. Smooth on some lip balm and slick on a nice magenta lip gloss like Victoria's Secret Brilliant Lip Shine in Torrid.

FINISHED! I would do this look for a date or a night out with the girls. It's very shimmery and stands out without making you look like a clown.

NYX Mega Shine lipgloss in Beige (my must have lipgloss I use it EVERYDAY! Goes so well with Thalia!), and  Beauty Treats Green Tea Makeup Remover Towelettes of course. I think I have a small obsession with green tea facial products...= P

What I had for lunch today: Tuna melt and fresh cantaloupe MMMMM!

It's been so hot here in California lately, it's beginning to feel like Thailand; my car's a/c doesn't even work and to fix it I have to dish out $600 USD can you believe that shit? GEEEEEEZ! Thankfully (and hopefully) the fall season is about to begin so I guess I'll just skip fixing it, I have better things to do with that money anyway, like buy the latest fall fashions hehe. On another note, I'm really excited about the upcoming school term because I'm almost done with school. I can't wait to get a REAL job/career and just live my life without worrying about $$$ anymore.

Got a little bored today so I went to check out the shoe store near my work. I also went to a wholefoods store to restock on my Jojoba Oil since I recently ran out.

I think every girl should have a NYX Guru palette. Seriously the colors are SO pretty it's CRESSY! They are neutral colors but that's what makes it worth it. It's so cheap and you can use it everyday. The texture is silky smooth, not chalky or powdery at all and the pigmentation is perfect. I just can't stop raving about this little trio, it's so impressive! So go ahead and get yourself one girls, it seriously is the shizz.

I recently was asked what I use my Evian Brumisateur Mineral Water Spray for. The thing is I use it for many reasons.

1. As a toner before my moisturizer, this helps my moisturizer and JoJoba Oil sink in more efficiently.

2. To set my loose powder.

3. To refresh my skin on a hot humid day.

4. As a light night moisturizer or whenever my face feels randomly dry.

5. To fix cakiness from Studio Fix+ Powder (which I hate with a PASSION BTW! Only good as concealer touchups). All I do is spray then take a tissue and pat the cakey areas away.

Before Evian I used to use Hadasui Water from Shiseido but stopped since I realized the ingredients on the list are really not so great and are not so natural. After switching to Evian I found a much improved complexion and better water retention than any other moisturizer I've used before. I know it's a bit redundant to buy Evian when I can just get an atomizer and put water in it, but trust me it's not the same (I've tried!). Evian actually has minerals and vitamins that are great for the skin that normal water does not provide, or at least that's what I believe!

I see a bunch of you beauty bloggers do this monthly favorite thing so I decided to do it too since I'm sooooooooo unoriginal LOL!

Since I just got my paycheck I went a little shop happy and decided to pick up a few items to make me feel better about my glum and blah mood I've been experincing as of late. I swear retail therapy makes me so damn happy, I hope it's not a high that turns into an addiction because if it does then my wallet is going to have to put me into therapy sessions with a budget/financial adviser...So anyway, I digress, here's what I bought:

As for a new moisturizer I decided to try this $5.99 one out and since my mascaras are drying up I get to try the latest one from L'Oreal. Yay me!

The summer heat seriously is kicking my flat Asian ass, no freaking joke. It's like ice cream everyday, my damn car's AC doesn't work, and my besties house is an oven and we were trying to BBQ there- I mean can you believe that? ARGH! Anyhoots Knott's Bery Farm this weekend, can't wait (you bet I'm gonna take a crap load of pics!), I haven't even watched the new Harry Potter yet! How dare me! Oh Daniel Radcliffe, I'm a cougar for you...

So today I went to a Korean market in Little Tokyo with some friends and I finally got my hands on these VOV Castledew items that I've been lemming for a while now. The lipgloss I got was the last one in that shade so you all don't know how ecstatic I was! Total price of this haul was $25, such a steal for good quality products with very cute packaging. In fact, I think I'm addicted now LOL! Here they are in all their sparkling glory.

Random Stuff

So I've been into watching a lot of Korean dramas lately, I'm sooooooo addicted, not even joking. I just finished The Korean version of Boys Before Flowers (Hana Yori Dango- Japanese version and adapted from a manga).

It was so good! I especially love the guys, they're really good looking! So if any of you are bored then I suggest to pick up a Korean drama or two. Trust me it's the ish! Maybe you'll actually hate me for recommending because you'll be so suckered into it, but maybe that was the plan from the get go? LOL!

I was really bored today so I decided to do an FOTD. I didn't take the best pictures because I'm still getting used to my camera. Hope you guys likie. A couple of days ago, I realized that I haven't really been taking care of my nails and that I needed some new neutral everyday nail polishes since the ones I have were spoiling. Here's what I got:

From left to right: California Mango Mend Skin, Cuticle & Nail Balm (This stuff works amazing on dry cuticles and smells sooooooooooooooo GOOD!). China Glaze polishes in, Fairy Dust, Heaven, and Temptation Carnation. Can you tell I like sheer natural looking nails? LOL. Maybe I'll do a nail post but seeing that I'm not a beauty blogger, I think I'll pass. = P

Maybelline's Lash Stiletto Review

Ain't I a hypocrite? JK So many beauty bloggers have already reviewed this mascara and I feel the need to offer my 2 cents! I'm not going to do a full on review (you can go to http://makeupalley.com/ for that) because I'm simply too lazy ^_^ But anyway, this mascara is decent in many ways. I feel that it's a good everyday mascara; it lengthens and defines, but does not volumize. It doesn't smudge at all, which is pretty neat considering I have oily lids YET it still removes very easily with warm water. It also does not clump and I like the rose and honey scent of it, I also like the price!
